Celebrating Student Achievements, Introducing Musical Ladder, Summer Lessons, and Spring Recital

As we kick off a new month, we're excited to share some great updates and achievements that set the stage for a month filled with music, learning, and growth.

1. Benbrook Music Academy Students Shine with 17 Medals

Benbrook Music Academy is thrilled to announce the exceptional achievement of our students in the recent Theory Test organized by the Texas Music Teachers Association. With a total of 17 medals secured, our students have once again showcased their dedication and musical prowess.

It's worth noting that only students who have been enrolled since Fall 2023 were given the opportunity to participate in this prestigious test. Their commitment to musical education and the rigorous instruction they receive at our academy have undoubtedly contributed to their success.

Looking ahead, we're excited to share that participation in the Theory Test will be replaced by the Musical Ladder System.This innovative evaluation program will provide our students with new opportunities to track their progress and showcase their musical talents as they continue their journey with us.

Congratulations to all our talented students on this remarkable achievement, and we look forward to supporting and celebrating their musical growth in the future.

2. Musical Ladder Testing Begins Next Week!

Excitement is building at Benbrook Music Academy as we gear up for Musical Ladder testing. Starting next week, students will have the chance to earn trophies and wristbands as they showcase their musical talents and progress through this motivational evaluation program.

Created by music academy director Marty Fort, this patented system is now being used by schools all around the US & Canada to help music students get more engaged and excited about their lessons!

Every 3, 6, or 12 months, students have achievement tests with their teachers and if they pass they get really cool colored bracelets, certificates, and at certain levels, trophies. It's a great way to monitor their progress in lessons to see how they're doing.

The Musical Ladder System is generating significant excitement in the music teaching community, and we are proud to be the only music school in Benbrook offering it.

3. Schedule Your Summer Makeup Lessons Now

Summer schedules can get hectic, but at Benbrook Music Academy, we've got you covered. Our summer letters have been sent out, and if you're looking to keep your preferred day, time, and teacher during the Fall semester, fill out the form provided and submit it to the Director when you're ready. You don't need to fill out the form if you don't plan on missing lessons during the summer.

By scheduling your summer makeup lessons in advance, you can ensure continuity in your musical education and maintain your progress, even amidst summer activities and vacations.

Spring Recital Registration Closed: Stay Tuned for Updates!

We'd like to thank everyone who signed up for our upcoming Spring recital. Registration is now officially closed. For those who successfully registered, you can expect to receive a notification regarding your recital spot in the coming weeks.

The recital is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 2nd, with performances at 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. Join us at the prestigious Fort Worth Your Orchestra Hall, located at 4401 Trail Lake Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76109.

Please note that only students who were enrolled in lessons during March, April, and May are eligible to participate in the recital.

Musical Ladder System

Achievements

The Benbrook Music Academy is the only music school in Benbrook that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests with the Musical Ladder System®. It has been awarded multiple patents and is being used by schools nationwide.

Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool "Musical Ladder System®" wristbands that they can show off to their friends.

Musical Ladder tests are scheduled to commence in May 2024.
